So what does Smart-Eye do for me?

Smart-Eye on its own allows you to control your digital satellite receiver from a remote location such as a bedroom, kitchen, or anywhere else you require.

However that is not all. In addition to controlling the digital satellite receiver directly, the Smart-Eye will also communicate to a Smart-Blaster fitted in line with the back of the digital receiver, which can re-emit (“Blast”) any IR remote control signal that is received by the Smart-Eye, so controlling any other video equipment located with the receiver such as DVD recorder, VCR, DVD, HDD, PVRs, etc...

So unlike other solutions Smart-Eye is not limited to Sky, when used with Bluedelta’s Smart-Blaster it can control any other equipment you like located with the receiver such as DVD recorder, VCR, DVD, HDD, PVRs, etc.

The Smart-Eye / Smart-Blaster system will therefore work with any video equipment not limited to digital satellite, but can be used with Digital or Analogue Cable, Digital Terrestrial, Video Jukebox, PVR, etc...

The wide voltage range enables the Smart-Eye / Smart-Blaster can be used with any power supply from 8v to 18v, namely any power port that may be available on your equipment, or with a separate PSU if one isn’t.

Smart-Eye’s ultra low power consumption means that up to eight Smart-Eyes, one Smart-Blaster, and one Smart-Amp-8 can be run from the RF2 supply of a Sky Digibox at the same time, saving time and trouble during installation of even complex multi-outlet systems.

Smart-Eye attaches to your TV set using a unique hassle-free reusable adhesive spot, rather like a Post-It note, so you can easily move it when you want without leaving a nasty mess behind, and knowing it will still stick second time too.

So how do I use it?

With Sky only

Plug Smart-Eye into the ‘ANT’ input of your remote TV, stick the pickup somewhere you can point the remote at it, and connect it (Using standard TV coax) to your sky box using the ‘RF2’ outlet. Turn on the RF2 power via the SERVICES menu. And off you go.

With Virgin or Freeview

Plug Smart-Eye into the ‘ANT’ input of your remote TV, stick the pickup somewhere you can point the remote at it, and connect it (Using standard TV coax) to a Smart-Blaster, connected to the ‘TV out’ RF socket on your receiver. Connect the power supply, check the LED comes on, and you’re done.

With Multiple outlets

For use with two or more remote TVs, simply use our Eye-compatible splitter.
