25th September 2008: Gold for Remote control range

What Satellite and Digital TV today awarded Gold for our entire range of Remote Control repeaters.

The Smart-Blaster has long been recognized as the most effective IR repeater on the market, and the newer Hideaway and Super-Blaster have already found a considerable following among Enthusiasts and professionals.

This latest award further underlines Bluedelta’s place at the forefront of the multiroom revolution.

Its always nice to have the fruits of our hard work recognized. Thank you WhatSat!

23rd September 2008: Bluedelta’s new website goes live

If the worst our competitors can say about us is that they don’t like our website then we really don’t have any kind of a problem, do we.

Having said that, it was starting to look a bit lame, so we’ve decided to give it a bit of a tart-up.

And here it is!

This new site has better search and e-commerce,  and a load of new products too.

17th September 2008: Bluedelta’s shows the tiger in its tank.

Today Bluedelta demonstrated its groundbreaking REDSTONE high definition multiroom system at the 9th Cambridge Enterprise Conference. “Put a Tiger in your Tank”.

And what a demonstration! Not for Bluedelta some little simulation running on the stand. No! We linked a HD video feed from the conference hall to multiple 46” displays all around the exhibition space, with cable runs over 300m and cascaded Hubs. This has really shown what REDSTONE  can do in large scale signage-type application.

REDSTONE is currently undergoing pre-production trials, and is expected to be available shortly.

The conference was hosted by Walter Herriot OBE, Managing Director of St John’s Innovation Centre, and attracted top level entrepreneurs and financiers from across several industries.

20th March 2008: Yet Another Gold for Milestone

What Satellite and Digital TV today gave us another Gold Award for our Milestone-2.0 CAT5-video system.

They subjected the new Milestone-2.0 a full system test, and published the results across a two page spread.

This latest award is in addition to two previous Gold awards, given for Best Digital Accessory in April 2007, and a full system test in June 2006.

This confirms Milestone’s place, leading the field in CAT5-video.

5th February 2008: Hideaway and Super-Blaster released

True to our word, here are a couple more variations on the theme of our Smart-Blaster, our remote IR repeater.

Hideaway is intended for those applications where you just want to hide your AV kit out of sight in a cupboard, but obviously you still want to control it from outside.

Super-Blaster is a unique all-in-one product combining both the functions of Smart-Blaster and Hideaway. It can even interface with our Milestone system at the same time!

5th January 2008: Sky Signal Adapter released

Another useful little gadget for you.

Sky Signal Adapter allows you to locate multiple

Sky digiboxes together without IR interference. The

tidy little product just fits onto the digibox’s RF2 outlet, getting its minute 2mA of current from there, and simply plugs into the IR out socket on the remote control repeater. Naturally it works with Milestone and several other upcoming products in our range. It will also work with most other manufacturer’s IR repeaters provided their IR output is in the correct format.

12th December 2007: Smart-Blaster Version 2 released

We at Bluedelta are not about to let the grass grow under our feet. Oh no! Sales of our Smart-Blaster have far exceeded our expectations, particularly since it has been identified as the only effective solution for multiroom Virgin service.

But rather than resting on our laurels we have listened to our customers, redesigned the basic Smart-Blaster for even higher power and even greater stability, and designed another two new products (coming soon) to suit other applications.

15th November 2007: MILESTONE-2.0 back in stock

Since its release in August, demand for MILESTONE-2.0 has been such that each new production batch has been virtually committed before it has finished building.

To put it in perspective, we expected to be building the second batch about now,  instead we are on the fourth! This batch will put about a thousand units on the shelf over the next two to three weeks, and these should be available for almost immediate despatch.

To be on the safe side, we have commissioned the next batch too.

27th October 2007: Smart-Blaster demand reaches all time high,

Fuelled by multi-room use with Virgin, demand for Bluedelta’s Smart-Blaster IR-repeater has hit an all time high, and has risen so fast in the last few weeks that all our remaining stock is now committed for existing orders.

This rise in demand has come far more rapidly than expected, and the next scheduled build of product is still a couple of weeks from complete.

We have done all we can to bring this forward, (it was set for mid December,) but that is the best we can do.

We are happy to accept advance orders for Smart-Blaster, (it would be as well to be at the front of the queue,) but customers must be aware that time to delivery could be as long as  three weeks from today, 27th October.

2nd August 2007: MILESTONE-2.0 released

Following on from the success of the original Milestone CAT5 Video system, MILESTONE-2.0 represents a complete re-design of all areas of the circuitry, providing a host of new features and performance enhancements for both commercial and domestic users.

Milestone has found a great diversity  of applications, ranging from simple domestic point-to-point links and distribution systems, to majour multi-screen systems in stadia and airports. MILESTONE-2.0 is set to build on the initial success in all these areas, and to explore many new applications too.

28th June 2007: New Website

We have launched our new-look website today!

Lets face it, the old one was looking a bit jaded, so it was about time we did something about it. The new site has more products, it is more informative, easier to navigate, easier to purchase from, and it is far easier for us to keep up to date.

We apologize for any teething troubles you may experience, if you find any grollies or broken links, or have any general comments then please let us know!

20th April 2007: Another Gold for Milestone

What Satellite and Digital TV today gave their Annual Gold Award for Best Digital Accessory to our Milestone CAT5 video system. This is in addition to the previous Gold , received in their June 2006 issue at the time of the full system test.

And before that:  Plenty to show but no time to show it

We’ve had plenty to shout about in the last couple of years; lots of gold awards, recommendations, design-Ins, and enough good press to paper the Albert Hall; but do you really need to read it all?

If I had time I’d like to make a complete press archive with all of it available, but I haven’t. I hope to do so some day, but right now Milestone demand is keeping us all too busy.
