Following on from our ever popular Smart-Blaster, we have extended the family to cover all possible applications.

Smart-Blaster you already know of course, providing multiroom control of all your AV equipment. Perfect with Sky+, SkyHD, Virgin, Freeview.

Hideaway is intended for those applications where you just want to hide your AV kit out of sight in a cupboard, but obviously you still want to control it from outside. Hideaway can be fitted with two or more high power IR emitters, (though one is usually enough!) and if necessary multiple IR pickups too. It can even interface with our award winning MILESTONE CAT5 video system.

Super-Blaster is a unique all-in-one product combining both the functions of Smart-Blaster and Hideaway. It can even interface with our Milestone system at the same time!

MILESTONE - 2.0

Award winning CAT5 video distribution.

When our MILESTONE system received the Gold Product Award from What Satellite earlier this year we were of course very pleased, but we were unprepared for the floodgate it would open. We expected a step rise in sales, they were already increasing rapidly, but we were taken completely by surprise by the sudden leap in demand it generated.

Milestone has become widely accepted as the standard for CAT5 video distribution, both in the domestic and commercial sectors.

Milestone’s flexibility and modularity enables it to be used in a wide range of applications, and it has already found uses in supermarkets, racing stadia, and airports in addition to many homes in UK and overseas.

But like Ferrari F1 team, we don’t believe in resting on our laurels just because we are winning. No; even the best can still be better, so we’ve given the whole range a thorough redesign, yielding higher performance and greater range The new version uses some parts that are considerably more expensive than the original, but we’ve decided to absorb the difference and keep the price the same.

So what is so special about this new version then?

While we were doing the redesign we thought we should also incorporate a few new features that our customers have requested, and improved a few other areas too.

 New auto video-sensing; allows Milestone to be used in addition to the

main TV output on many sources, such as the VCR port of a Digibox.

 New IR indication on every unit, helps diagnose installation problems.

 New Sky Signal Injector, allows direct 7.5MHz signalling to Sky boxes.

 Improved Equalisation, better signal quality on long cable runs (over 600m).

 Improved video clamping, rock-solid sync on even the fussiest flat-panel TVs.

 Improved InfaRed relay circuit will be able to cope with multiple IR frequencies.

 Improved Power-save; even less standby power, just enough to work the IR circuit.

So how do I go about getting Milestone-2.0?

Domestic Customers: Milestone has proved very popular, in fact we have sold over three times what we expected in the last few months, We are currently ex-stock across the range, and we are building more as fast as possible to keep up with demand. Don’t worry if we run short at any time, the next build will never be more than about two weeks away.
